Individual therapy
Staying open and committed
Individual therapy provides a safe space for you to explore yourself more deeply and improve your relationships with others. You will learn to better understand and regulate your inner life. You will discover new ways of dealing with challenges and develop greater self-confidence. This will enable you to become more aware of how you want to live and how to build fulfilling relationships, whether they are professional or personal.
Create a space in which you can:
- Find new ways: Let go of old strategies and respond to new situations with authenticity and spontaneity.
- Discover your inner strength: Learn to listen to your needs and stand up for yourself.
- Recognize your patterns: Develop the ability to act more consciously instead of reacting on autopilot.
- Awaken your curiosity: Instead of being guided by negative feelings, learn to be open and curious about new experiences.
Developing Healthy Curiosity
For many people, anger seems to be an important way to set boundaries. But anger also narrows your perspective and limits your options. Staying curious about the world helps you stay present, open, and able to act more effectively.
In individual therapy, you develop an understanding of how you keep disconnecting from your life energy and what you need to stay open and able to act.
Instead of getting stuck in negative emotional cycles, you learn to look at difficult situations from a new perspective. This open attitude helps you understand your reactions and respond to challenges in a more creative and joyful way.
Therapy Sessions
Depending on my availability, you may attend weekly or bi-weekly sessions. Less frequent sessions, such as once a month, are also an option. Sessions can take place online via Zoom or in person at my office in Berlin Prenzlauer Berg. Each session lasts 50 minutes and costs €120.
Your therapy goal may span several sessions and guide our work over time. Or we may decide together in each session what feels most important to focus on at that moment.
A typical session begins with us talking about what’s on your mind and what’s bothering you. As we go along, we’ll explore deeper emotional patterns that may be holding you back. I may also use specific questions or exercises to help you gain new insights and process difficult emotions.
